Large, Beautifully and Heavily Crafted and Signed Vintage Breakell Sterling Silver Curvy Modern Stylized Open Heart Brooch.
The brooch measures just over approximately 1 and 3/8 inches, or about 35 millimeters, high, by just over about 1 and 1/8 inches, or approximately 29 millimeters, wide, and roughly 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The brooch is stamped, "Sterling", alongside the maker's mark on the back, and signed, "Breakell". Weight is approximately 6.51 grams.
This brooch is in very good vintage condition, but will have the expected light surface scratches and a few tiny dings to the silver, from normal wear. Hand polished, but there could be more tarnish remaining. The standard locking pinback secures as intended, and the pin is still straight and sharp.
