The chain measures about 24 and 3/16 inches long, from end to end, and should fit at roughly 24 and 1/8 inches long, closed. The chain is approximately 2 millimeters, or just over about 1/16 of an inch, wide. Stamped on both end caps, "925 Italy", and signed,"DNT". Stamped, "925", again on the lobster claw clasp.
The pendant measures just under approximately 3 and 11/16 inches high, bale included, by about 2 and 3/16 inches wide, and approximately 3/8 of an inch, or about 9.52 millimeters, thick. The bale opening measures just under approximately 1/4 of an inch, or about 6.25 millimeters, wide. (Included you'll find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The pendant is stamped, "Mexico", and, "925", on the back, and signed either, "TD-20", "TO-28", or some other combination thereof.
Combined weight is approximately 35.28 grams.
This necklace is in very good vintage condition for it's age. There is one dent or crease to the left side of the bottom dome on the pendant. The chain has no kinks or bends, and the lobster claw clasp works well and holds securely. There will be the expected light surface scratches a few tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. Hand polished, but have missed some tarnish, especially in the tight crevices between domes on the pendant
A very impressive and striking handcrafted and signed vintage Mexican Sterling silver dimensional cross pendant necklace. Massive and dramatic in size, but curvy and sleekly modern. This is a showstopper that will be noticed every time you wear it, and a fantastic addition to any Taxco jewelry collection.
