The ring is approximately a size 8 and 1/2. The circular face of the ring measures approximately 1 and 1/16 inches, or about 26.985 millimeters, in diameter, and projects roughly 1/2 of an inch, or approximately 12.7 millimeters, from the finger. The pearl measures approximately 7/16 of an inch, or about 11.1125 millimeters, in diameter. The band narrows in the back to just over approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 5 millimeters wide. (Included you'll find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) It is marked inside the band, "925", "18K", and stamped, "Indonesia", and signed with a, "BA", maker's mark. Weight is substantial, at approximately 16.8 grams, which includes the pearl weight, of course.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will be the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings in the silver from normal wear. The thick ring is still very much round and true. The pearl has no scratches, chips or cracks. Hand polished, but there is probably still a bit of tarnish, as it was very black to began. This is a handcrafted item and will not be machine-perfect in any sense.
A very striking, unusual and beautifully detailed vintage Bali Sterling silver, 18K Yellow Gold and pearl ring. Tremendous attention to decoration on every aspect. Huge, heavy, and eye-catching, while feminine and so pretty.
