Striking and Dramatic Signed Vintage Southwest or Art Deco Style Sterling Silver and Inlaid Black Onyx and Blue Turquoise Stud Pierced Earrings.
Each earring face measures just under approximately 7/16 of an inch, or about 11 millimeters, high, by just over about 1/2 of an inch, or approximately 13 millimeters, wide, and roughly 3/16 of an inch, or about 4.7625 millimeters, deep. (Included you will find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Each earring is stamped, "925", on the back, and signed with what appears to be an L inside an oval with a flower design maker's mark. Combined weight is approximately 3.14 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No visible damage to the inlaid onyx.The turquoise on one earring has a crack, but is stable in it's setting. One post has a bend near the tip and since being returned by a buyer now has a a very slight bend nearer the back of the face, the other appears pretty straight, but they're both still wearable. The original clutches were missing and the ones included are brand new Sterling replacements. Hand polished, but there is probably missed some tarnish.These are handcrafted and will not be machine-perfect in any way.
