The necklace measures approximately 18 and 7/8 inches long, from end to end, and should fit at about 18 and 3/4 inches long, closed. The beaded "chain" measures about 1/4 of an inch, or approximately 6.35 millimeters, wide at the smallest beads, and approximately 5/8 of an inch, or about 15.87 millimeters, wide at the widest beads.
The convex Sterling pendant portion measures approximately 2 inches, or approximately 50.8 millimeters, in diameter, by roughly 3/8 of an inch deep. (Included you'll find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped, "925", on the back, unsigned. Weight is approximately 81 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This necklace is in very good vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No damage to the stones. Hand polished, but it's always possible that some tarnish remains.
A striking, unusual, bold and colorful vintage Sterling silver and gemstone necklace. A real standout, just delightful.
