The necklace measures about 18 and 1/16 inches long, from end to end, and will fit at about 18 inches long. The chain is approximately 1.5 millimeters, or just under about 1/16 of an inch, wide. (Included a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) It is stamped, "925", and signed with a, "JG" or "JC", maker's mark on an inline lozenge. Stamped, "925", again on the spring ring clasp. The pendant measures just over approximately 15/16 of an inch, or about 24 millimeters, high by just over about 7/16 of an inch, or approximately 11.5 millimeters, wide, and just over roughly 1/4 of an inch, or about 6.5 millimeters, thick not including the hidden bale. The bale opening measures approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, wide. Stamped on the back, "925", and signed, "JC". The original box had a sticker reading, "genuine topaz", as well. Combined weight is approximately 4.2 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This necklace is in very nice vintage condition, with no kinks or bends. Does not appear to have ever been worn by the original owner, as it was in the original box when purchased. (The box is not included as it was heavily soiled and damaged.) There could be the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from storage or in the event it was previously worn. No damage to the stones, and none are missing. Hand polished, but it may need further attention. The spring ring clasp works well and holds securely.
