Outstanding, Large and Chunky, Signed Vintage Modernist Taxco, Mexican Sterling Silver & Black Onyx Circular Pendant.
  
   The pendant measures approximately 2 and 5/16 inches, or about 58.74 millimeters, high, including the tubular bale bar, by about 1 and 7/8 inches, or approximately 73.02 millimeters, wide, and roughly 3/8 of an inch, or 9.52 millimeters, deep. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The bale opening measures just under approximately 3/8 of an inch, or about 9.5 millimeters, wide. The pendant is stamped, "925 Mexico", on the back, and signed, "TC-60. Weight is approximately 44.5 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
  
    This pendant is in very good vintage condition, but will exhibit the expected light surface scratches and a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No visible damage to the stone. Hand polished, but may have missed tarnish, especially within the small crevice around the setting and below the bale bar.

   A very impressive, boldly sized, but sleek and beautiful, signed Mexican Sterling silver and black onyx pendant. Nicely handcrafted, substantial and heavy. This modernist piece will be noticed.
