The pendant measures just over approximately 2 and 1/4 inches, or about 57.25 millimeters, high, including the bale, by about 1 and 9/16 inches, or approximately 65.09 millimeters, wide, and roughly 1/2 of an inch, or about 12.7 millimeters, deep. (Included you'll find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The bale opening measures just under approximately 5/16 of an inch, or about 7.9 millimeters, wide. The pendant is stamped, "925 Mexico", on the back, and signed, "TC-24. Weight is approximately 33.85 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This pendant is in very good vintage condition, but will exhibit the expected light surface scratches and probably a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No visible damage to the stone. Hand polished, but may have missed some tarnish.
A very impressive, substantial and heavy, but sleek and beautiful, signed Mexican Sterling silver and black onyx pendant. Nicely handcrafted, with striking form, size and contrast. An outstanding modernist piece.
