Large, Beautiful, Vintage Sterling Silver Cabochon and Faceted Amethyst Hinged Dangle Hook Earrings.


   Each earring measures just over approximately 1 and 5/16 inches high, from the top of the hook to the bottom of the drop, by just over about 7/16 of an inch, or approximately 11.5 millimeters, wide at its widest point, and approximately 3/8 of an inch, or about 9.52 millimeters, deep. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The back of each earring is stamped, "925", unsigned. Combined weight is approximately 8.98 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.

  These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No chips or cracks to the stones. Both hooks look pretty straight, but perhaps not perfectly so. Hand polished, but there may be some tarnish remaining.

   A very striking, nicely crafted, pair of vintage Sterling silver and amethyst hinged drop earrings. Bold size, tons of sleek style, and great movement.
