The chain measures about 18 and 1/8 inches long, from end to end, and should fit at roughly 18 and 1/16 inches long, closed. The chain is approximately 1.5 millimeters, or just under about 1/16 of an inch, wide. Stamped on an inline lozenge, "925", and, "Italy", and signed, "IBB". Stamped again on the spring ring clasp, "925".
The pendant measures approximately 1 and 3/16 inches or about 30.16 millimeters, high, bale included, by just over about 5/8 of an inch, or approximately 16 millimeters, wide, and roughly 1/16 of an inch, or about 1.585 millimeters, thick. The bale opening measures approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 4.7625 millimeters, wide. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) It is stamped, "925", on the back of the bale, unsigned. Combined weight is approximately 4.1 grams.
This necklace is in very good vintage condition. The chain has no kinks, and the spring ring clasp works well and holds securely. There will be the expected light surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. Hand polished, but may have missed some tarnish. Please try to overlook the dark and/or blotchy reflections of the black camera lens and tripod in the photographs.
A very lovely, nicely detailed, signed vintage Italian Sterling silver Celtic cross pendant necklace. Nice size and profile. Strong design. Much prettier in person than the camera could capture.
