The ring is approximately a size 6 and 1/2. The face of the ring measures approximately 9/16 of an inch, or about 14.287 millimeters high, and projects about 3/8 of an inch from the finger. The band measures about 5/16 of an inch, or approximately 7.93 millimeters, wide. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The band is stamped inside, "925", and signed with a heart-shaped maker's mark. Weight is substantial, at approximately 7.9 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will be the expected light surface scratches and could be tiny dings in the silver from normal wear. The thick ring band is round and true. There is no visible damage to the topaz. Hand polished, but there may still be areas of missed tarnish.
A very unusual, beautiful, vintage Brighton Sterling silver and smoky topaz ring, now retired. Show-stoppingly bold, but pretty and feminine, with acres of sparkle.
