Each earring face measures just over approximately 1 and 1/2 inches or about 38.5 millimeters, high, by just under about 1 and 3/8 inches wide, and just over approximately 1 inch, or about 25.5 millimeters, front to back. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The back of each earring is hand signed, perhaps reading, "Darius or Daina Sey", though I can't be certain. Each post is stamped, "14K", and has a maker's mark. One clutch is stamped, "Sterling", the other is stamped, "Ster.". Combined weight is approximately 11.05 grams.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver, though none visible. The posts are straight. The clutches are Sterling replacements for the missing originals and are mismatched but both fit and hold well. Hand polished, but there will likely be further tarnish to remove, particularly on the clutches, as they were very tarnished.
An outstanding and unusual pair of artisan crafted and signed vintage Sterling silver and 14k gold curvy, modernist earrings. The subtle texture catches light beautifully, the unique profile is strong and striking. These amazing earrings will be noticed and appreciated.
