Each earring measures just under approximately 1 and 5/8 inches, or about 41.27 millimeters, high, by just over about 1 and 1/8 inches, or approximately 29 millimeters, wide at the widest point and just under about 3/8 of an inch, or approximately 9.5 millimeters, thick. (Included find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped on both of the clutches, "ST. SIL.". Stamped on the back of each earring, "Sterling", and signed, "NEZ". Combined weight is approximately 15.15 grams.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No bends or dents, but these are handcrafted and will not be perfectly identical, symmetrical, nor machine-perfect in any other sense. No chips or cracks to the bone. The posts are pretty straight and the clutches fit and hold well. Hand polished, but they may need a bit more attention, as they were very blackened, to start. Please forgive the dark, blotchy reflections of the camera body, black camera lens, and tripod in the photos.
An impressive and lovely pair of handmade vintage Southwest Sterling silver bone inlaid earrings. Bold in size, with subtle style taken from nature's palate of shape and color.
